Solicitor- Advocate - Managing Partner
Benjamin Posener is the managing partner of FPG Solicitors. He is an experienced litigator and advocate and is responsible for all areas of litigation and commercial law in the practice. Mr Posener has gained extensive experience in all areas of litigation and has particular expertise in large Banking and Finance cases and those of Professional Negligence. Mr Posener also has experience in representing clients in relation to both high court civil and serious criminal fraud allegations.
Since the inception of FPG Solicitors Mr Posener has amassed further experience in the field litigation and regulatory claims and was responsible for leading our team against the four major banks in relation to the mis-selling of Interest Rate Hedging Products. The claims proved to be successful for a large number of SME’s returning substantial sums of money in damages and consequential losses.
Currently specialising in High Court Litigation Claims against financial institutions, he is experienced in acting against magic and silver circle firms such as Clifford Chance, DLA, Hogan Lovells, Addleshaw Goddard, and Dentons. Mr Posener is also experienced in litigating professional negligence claims against other professionals including solicitors and medical professionals. Mr Posener has settled a number of large and complex cases and continues to represent others at the High Court both defending and bringing claims.
As well as litigation matters Mr Posener has experience in drafting company and commercial contacts, regulatory manuals and other documents for SME’s. He has gained experience in advising SME’s on many legal issues relevant to running a business in a litigious and regulation heavy society and has helped businesses utilise agreements, contracts and other documents so as to assist in their smooth running. Mr Posener has been able to utilise his knowledge and experience in contract law to better provide advice in relation to contracts and other documents which SMEs require on a day-to-day basis.
